I hear complaints about time, lack of sleep, energy, blah blah blah..... what if you have 1 leg or NO legs.... how difficult would your life be then?
What would you do differently?
Would you sit and wait for time to pass or get moving and redefine your life!
So many times when we think "our lives are the toughest", think that "no one understand me", we wonder 'why can't they just be like me".
Well.... life isn't all sunny days and bright rainbows. There will be storm days and a stack load of excuses but watch out and cut them off before they cripple you and your health.
My top tips 10x your mindset toughness
1. BLINK IT!- don't think about going to the gym just go! Wake up, roll out of bed, get changed, get into your car and go! Once you are there you WILL move, walk, stretch and lift something. Don't allow yourself time to think about the gym because you will end out hitting the snooze button but jump start your body into action before you can even think about it.
2. ACCOUNTABILITY- Accountability is key. We are all happy enough to let ourselves down but when it comes to other people, the embarrassment, how we are portrayed, our self image is super important to us and won't let others down. Stay accountable to a friend or hire a personal trainer to have a penalty of 50 burpees for every time you are late.
3. LISTEN TO PODCASTS- Instead of listen to top 40 hits or useless talk back radio on the train or the drive into work, subscribe to a Podcast and start getting inspired. Stories, advice, tips about health and even recipes for shake allows you to try something and look forward to trying something different. As human we need excitement, variety and curiosity that way we grow, experience and can have first hand knowledge of how it feels, taste smells, sounds like.
4. HABITS- Change them. Do I need say more?
5. FOR YOU AND ONLY YOU- No one else benefits directly from this than you. Yes, you might be a better husband/wife/partner, a better parent, a less pain in the ass friend, someone who can walk up a flight of stairs without breaking a sweat and panting for water.
It's your life, your health, you excuses or determination to craft out an enjoyable life to live.
